We are a family-owned small business in a BIG store! Our inventory is enormous, so we may have exactly what you are looking for! While we specialize in model railroading, we also have GUNDAM/Bandai model kits and plastic model kits of slot cars, rockets, boats and ships, planes and other aircraft and armor model kits, too. We have die-cast cars, aircraft and tanks! You'll find stamps and coin collecting supplies, paint supplies and more! Because our inventory is so extensive and many items sell so quickly, we can't possibly offer an up-to-the-minute list every item in stock here on our site, but you are welcome to come in and browse — or call us!

Our store is huge and occupies what used to be a large, lower-level bowling alley. You'll find our store to be unique–like a hobby store you might find in the 1960s or 70s (but our inventory is modern!). It's not fancy or slick, and we're kinda proud that it smells a little musty like an old book store from another era. If you're too young to remember old stores like that, stop in for an experience you won't soon forget –– but do it soon! We purchased a new building in Arden Hills and will move in by late fall 2026.
